Closing a Plant

CLOSING A PLANT

Stuart B. Millner & Associates' expert team evaluates your needs through a "turn-key" approach to asset management. Our team works with you to determine which of our services will best unlock the recovery potential of your project(s).

Stuart B. Millner & Associates provides a comprehensive plant deactivation package that is custom-tailored to retrieve the highest dollar value of your assets.

Total Plant Deactivation Process

Step 1 in the Total Plant Deactivation process includes the sale of manufacturing and office equipment, tooling, machinery, furniture and supplies, accomplished through auctions and negotiated liquidation programs.

Step 2 involves the remarketing of work-in-process (W.I.P.), raw materials and finished goods. Specialized machinery, equipment, and product lines are also sold during this step.

Step 3 includes the sale of recoverable metals and the recovery of electrical components.

Step 4 leaves the facility empty and ready to be marketed, thereby completing the process.
